I cannot wait to attend this years’ Salford Business School Ball on Friday 29th May 2015. I’m mostly excited because I never had a high school prom, so it’s a pretty big occasion for me.  It’s a nice way to celebrate before we graduate and have fun with classmates and alumni!

This night is created for us!  All of the hard work, projects, assignments and exams have led us to this point, so now it’s time for our reward. So let’s unleash our inner divas, dress to impress and make it a night to remember!

Great chance to enjoy Hotel Football facilities

We will be wined and dined and sumptuous food and drinks will be flowing.  There will be amazing music, which we can dance the night away to, let’s be carefree!

I’m quite excited by the fact that I’m going to be able to say I’ve been to Hotel Football, I’m not even a football fan but I know how iconic the hotel is, and did you know that it is owned by Manchester United’s Class of ’92?

Business School of the year 2014

I’ve been told that this year’s event promises to be extra special as we also celebrate being part of the THE Business School of the Year (how great will this look on our CVs by the way?).

So, need I say more?

Will you be joining classmates to make some amazing final memories of your time at University? The Ball will be held on the evening of 29th May and is set to be one of the best ways we can celebrate before we graduate.

The theme for the event is black tie so I’m looking forward to getting the chance to get dressed up and see my friends in the finest clothes for the red carpet.

How can you join SBS Ball?

Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £35 for students because the school is subsidizing the cost for us. We can also invite a guest too, so if you have a partner or friend you would like to be part of the fun with they can come too but there ticket will cost slightly more. Over the last few years the event has been a sell-out so tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis, I’ve already got mine, but you should be able to get yours until 18th May if they don’t sell out sooner.

More information about the event can be found at www.salford.ac.uk/sbs-ball or by getting in contact with our alumni officer; Stacey Anderson at s.anderson@salford.ac.uk.

If you’re being part of the fun be sure tweet using #SBSBall. I’ve been tweeting already, and will be doing so again when I find that all important dress for the evening.
