What is organised for students on commencement of placement?
Student nurses are expected to contact placement area/mentor 2 weeks prior to commencement of placement, initial induction pack is available. Shadow mentor, Spoke opportunities. And links to secondary care, BAS, RAID AND CMHT.
What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?
Mentors allocated by PEF.
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Shift Notes:
Days: 0900-1700 with some flexibility between the hours of 0800-18.00.
