About this placement
What is organised for students on commencement of placement?
EachStep Care Blackley is a 60 bedded purpose built specialist dementia care service, that provides respite, residential, nursing and end of life care. The home brings together modern dementia-friendly environment design, leading person-centred care approaches, a significant focus on involving the local community, and a commitment to making a social impact in the Manchester area.
There are five households within the home which have been purpose designed to promote the independence, safety and well-being of people living with dementia,

07.45 – 14.00
Late:
13.45 – 22.00

The EachStep model is designed to support people living with dementia throughout the journey, from early diagnosis until the end of life. We care for people who experience psychological and behavioural challenges associated with dementia.
