There are qualified practice supervisors and assessors on the team.  All practice supervisors and assessors are updated on NMC 2018 standards for supporting learners in practice and are invited to attend refreshers

What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?

Shift Notes:

Days: Monday- Friday (8am-4pm)

What patient care situations are available in this placement?

The Day Service is a mixed gender therapeutic service that supports young people, aged 13-18 years, to try to better manage their mental health difficulties, through the joint exploration of their strengths and needs.  The service is able to offer a variety of therapeutic interventions on a 1:1 and group basis and through this work can help young people identify appropriate coping strategies that might help build hope, resilience, and improve wellbeing.

 

Providing recovery focused therapeutic interventions

1:1 sessions
