What patient care situations are available in this placement?

Keswick Ward delivers 13 beds for a similar recovery focused pre-discharge pathway.

Service users residing on Keswick may be entitled to leave and are actively working towards their discharge to a community placement/destination.

Our service users are In-patients with enduring mental health problems who are now moving back into their community and thus have extended leave arrangements and a level of independence. Some community work also, as appropriate/needed.

The model of care is based on the principles of recovery, a feeling of hope and optimism is essential for our service users’ recovery.  We believe that service users should be empowered to regain and maintain control over their lives and to develop a sense of meaning and purpose.
