What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?
We have named mentor who has attended an update in the last 12 months, currently we have 11 registered nurses on site who can be sign off mentors.
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Early:
06:30 – 15:00
Late:
13:00 – 20:00
Night:
20:00 – 06:30
Shift Notes:
Alternatively can work 3 long days 06:30 – 20:00.

Additional Information
The prison healthcare services are continually developing to provide a systematic approach to delivery of care and services in line with a current health needs analysis, prison health quality indicators and recommendations from Her Majesties Inspectorate of Prisons. This also includes the continuous education and training of healthcare staff and working in partnership with external agencies such as Health Protection England, Environmental Health and local NHS providers.
