What patient care situations are available in this placement?
- General medical patients with some acute situations
- Day case surgery including ENT, Orthopaedic, trauma, and Dental
What nursing model is used for planning care?
We use an eclectic model of Casey and Roper Logan and Tierney.

Additional Information
Note:- Students should be aware that the car parking attendants are extremely stringent about displaying tokens and students have been fined on more than one occasion. Students should display the car parking tokens prominently on their dashboard when using the NMGH car park.
This placement is shared with Manchester University, they have a high number of mentors and can accommodate a high number of students.
