Observe – First hand Observation of Care given to the client by the Mentor, Practice – Student delivers care, under direct supervision, until their Mentor is assured that they have the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to competently deliver the care.

At Leesbrook we work from 8:30am – 5pm with an hour for lunch. If these hours are a problem for a genuine reason, then please discuss this with your Mentor and we will try to help.

Types of experience: District Nurse, Leg Ulcer Clinic, General Clinic, Ear care, Wound care, Home visits, Palliative care.

Resource room available with access to PCT intranet/internet. We also have a student resource file full of valuable information. From time to time we put on a mini teaching session for you.
