Susann Marinelli is the PEF, she has student booklets prepared and we allocate students before they start

What patient care situations are available in this placement?
A mixture of male and female medical patients, who have estimated discharge dates under 72 hours
What nursing model is used for planning care?
Roper, Logan and Tierney’s Model of Nursing.
What core clinical skills can be learnt?
Nursing documentation; complexed discharges with multidisciplinary (MDT) team, med management
What additional clinical skills can be learnt?
Venepuncture, ECGs, Urinary Catherisation, Cannulation.
