Local induction of the placement area and introduction to staff.
Student pack will be provided with all the relevant information for the placement.

A Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor will be identified and allocated to the student at the start of the placement.
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Shift Notes:
Day shift 9-5 with some weekend work included.

Home visits to patients to assess their acute needs
Assessment of inpatients and their suitability for discharge/chronic needs and ongoing input
