What is organised for students on commencement of placement?
All sub teams have up to date Mentors
Students are inducted into the team
Students are provided with a Welcome Pack
Students are provided with intrarnet access
Students are provided with a wide range of access to spoke placements
What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?
All mentors are up to date with training
All mentors are aware of what tier of learning the student is at
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Shift Notes:
08.00 – 21.00
Note:- We do have some flexibility around these should a student wish to complete shorter days however no start times later than 9am.
7 day service.
What patient care situations are available in this placement?
All students must adhere to NMC guidance and policy
All students are supported and encouraged to participate in patient care situations
