What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?
Learners work with the supervisor as much as possible to gain the best experience and to ensure a good overview of the 0-19 service and core programme delivered in line with The Healthy Child Programme.
Mentors attend annual updates and complete a personal professional portfolio showing evidence of learning

Additional Information
The 0-19 Service aims to respect and recognise each infant, child and young person as unique individuals whose best interests must be paramount, whilst considering their physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs, as well as those of the family.
On your first day, please can you attend St James’s House at 9am. Take the lift to the 7th floor. If exiting the lift on the wall with 2 lifts turn right. If only 1 lift on the wall turn left. Please use the hand gel in the lobby area before entering the office. There is a small keypad on the left-hand side of the door. The code will be given to you when you contact the team.
Please be aware you may be asked to travel to other sites as part of this placement.
If you have been allocated this placement, and you have children and live in the catchment area of the team, this may not be an appropriate placement for you. Please call the team as soon as you are allocated this placement area to discuss.
