All staff have completed PARE/PA/PS training.
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
SPCT service is run Monday to Friday 8-4pm
What patient care situations are available in this placement?
The Bury Community Palliative Care Nursing Team, as members of the Bury Specialist Palliative Care Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), work alongside, and in support of, statutory and voluntary health and social care services to improve the care of patients and their families with complex palliative needs.
Care is provided to adults from diagnosis to end of life, where the patient’s needs are not being met by the generic Primary Health Care Team (PHCT). Care is offered to patients in their own homes, nursing or residential homes.
