Glenn’s experience at Salford in the last three years has been truly transformational, finding his calling in producing extended reality (XR) design and development, and evolving into a confident, enthusiastic and highly skilled individual. He has acted as Student Representative for his group and often takes his learning beyond the classroom, choosing to expand his knowledge beyond the curriculum and sharing this with other students via extra-curricular online sessions.
Where Glenn has truly shone is in his response to industry live briefs, where he displays an outstanding work ethic. Through our partnership with Barclays, Glenn had the opportunity to develop a virtual reality environment for Barclays Eagles Labs. This was a tough project, but he impressed all stakeholders with his professionalism and technical skills throughout. In a short period, Glenn took the lead on this process and developed a sophisticated prototype which has now become the basis for the future development of an XR strategy at Barclays. Glenn has flourished into a proficient digital developer whose ambition and creative drive is limitless.
