The Journalism, Politics and History Award is one of five subject based prizes, recognising students who have shown exceptional contribution to their study area and tremendous effort towards embracing student life at Salford. This year, the judges were overwhelmed with the talent of this year’s cohort, resulting in four finalists rather than three. The nominees are real advocates of their field of study, with established semi-professional careers already in place. They share an undeniable commitment to their craft, pursuing professional development opportunities way above and beyond the expectations of their day-to-day assessments.
