Ines Vukobrat

BA (Hons) Animation

Across her three years on the BA (Hons) Animation course, Ines has developed a greater confidence in traditional 2D animation styles and has really proven herself to be a dedicated student, pushing her abilities and utilising the whole range of facilities available at our MediaCity campus.

From the start of her undergraduate journey, Ines has been a positive team player creating some stunning individual contributions to group projects and taking on a collaborative real-world live briefs, such as the Quays Culture’s ‘Mystery Bird’ project for Lightwaves Festival. Always keen to enhance her portfolio through extra-curricular work, Ines has been involved in the international 24 hour challenge, Animation Jams, and most recently contributed to the national Cardiff Quick Draw 48 hour challenge where her resulting work was screened at the Cardiff Animation Festival. This year she volunteered at Manchester Animation Festival, supporting events and workshops at HOME and Manchester Central Library. Ines takes full advantage of every networking opportunity possible and her drive to develop her professional aspirations as a 2D animator are admirable.

Ines says “I know the University is filled with many talented and hard-working individuals, so I feel quite proud to have been shortlisted as finalist. I really appreciate the nomination, as it acknowledges all the efforts I’ve put into my work and studies and I’m thankful for the recognition.”
