Through her undeniable ambition for television production, Erin has proven herself in all aspects of her studies. Whilst at our MediaCity campus, Erin has engaged with many extra-curricular projects and always gives it her all. Due to her professionalism and strong work ethic, she secured a fantastic opportunity at BBC Breakfast working on their Summer and Winter Olympics coverage. Most recently, she was personally asked by ex-footballer Rio Ferdinand to take on the role as Assistant Producer for his live show FIVE, in London, and FIFA.

Erin continuously offers her support to her peers, striving to gain new skills and develop her portfolio. She is a well-established team member, demonstrating creativity and passion in everything she commits to. Through involving herself in the School’s international activity, she recently became Production Manager for a successful live music show organised alongside our partner institution in Tennessee, USA. Her positive attitude and strong networking capabilities have enabled her to secure valuable industry experience such as this, with her lecturers describing her as a pleasure to work with, both socially and professionally.

Erin says “Being nominated came as a huge shock but a huge honour rolled into one. I truly wasn’t expecting it!”
