Nick studied Television and Radio Production at Salford, now working as a broadcast journalist. He graduated in 2018 and has worked on several stories that have given voices to people living with neurodiverse conditions. After being diagnosed as autistic in 2017, while studying at The University of Salford.
Nick fiercely campaigns and strives to help make the broadcast and television production sector more accommodating and welcoming of people with neurodiverse conditions like himself.
In 2022 Nick won an Alumni Achievement Rising Star Award and accepted the speech saying: “I’d like to dedicate this award to all the autistic people who are in their bedrooms currently with an abundance of talent, but apprehension and anxiety about whether they will be able to fulfil their potential in a neurotypical world.
