The Future of Digital Housing Conference: NetDef Insight

In the run up to the Digital Housing Conference we will be speaking to some of our event sponsors, and supporter’s. With a view to showcase the work they do and how their support and services can help and improve your company’s digital development.

Q1 What attracted you to the event?

We have a strong reputation in the housing sector and the solutions and services we sell fit very well under the theme of this event.  Some examples of the work we have delivered include:

Q2 How can your company help support those looking to digitalise their services?
Digitalised services require robust and secure infrastructure platforms.  In our experience, this sector is dealing with a great deal of organisational change alongside commercial and regulatory pressures – all of which are challenging to manage and make strategic decision making around IT difficult.

Nearly all the social housing organisations we have dealt with have had plans to, or have implemented projects in these areas:

  • Internet access for customers
  • Remote Access
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery.

Security is not always at the forefront of people’s minds when working on these projects due to limited resources, time and budgets.  As a result, a solution that not only answers the requirements of the business but also addresses security is unlikely to be delivered.
