This website relates to a mixed-methods study exploring online sexual harassment. The research project is entitled: ‘WYD? – Online Sexual Harassment & Media Application Engagement’.
Full ethical approval for the project was obtained from both Leeds Trinity University and The University of Salford.
This is a collaborative project based in the UK. This timely study aims to explore how people understand the concepts of sexual harassment and consent in relation to individual differences and the online environment. Findings from this research are intended to provide recommendations that will improve people’s awareness of sexual harassment, identify those at risk of sexual harassment, and lead to strategies that could be implemented to reduce incidences of sexual harassment.
