If you are interested in finding out more about the opportunities that the new EU research programme HORIZON2020 has to offer for researchers in social sciences and humanities, there will be several events taking place in the New Year:
The two-day event will appeal to members of the SSH research community who are looking for networking and funding opportunities within Horizon 2020. It will be of particular interest to researchers from universities and research organisations in the field of SSH, Civil Society Organisations & Non-governmental Organisations. SSH-relevant industries involved in Research and Innovation activities are also among the target audience. Established networks such as ERA-NETs will be invited to attend.

This Info Day will take place on January 21, 2014 on the premises of the Commission, Brussels.
Draft agenda: 10.00-13.00 – Commission presentations – presentation by the commission services of the funding opportunities for SSH expertise and RRI actions across the WP 13.00-14.00 – networking lunch 14.00-17.00 – Participants’ pitches – participants interested in presenting pitches on a topic of their choice will be given this opportunity so as to facilitate the build-up of partnerships looking to submit proposals together. ÂThis event will take place on January 23, 2014 in Luxembourg.
This event addresses potential applicants for the first Calls under Horizon 2020 in the fields of ICT research & innovation supporting the Cultural and Creative Industries and Cultural Heritage:
• ICT 2014 – Information and Communications Technologies, H2020-ICT-2014-1
• Reflective Societies: Cultural Heritage and European Identities, H2020-Reflective-7-2014
