Enabling Healthier Living

We look to support a society where individuals can thrive in good health by exploring a wide range of issues linked to physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

Researchers working across this theme contribute to the development of evidence-based interventions, policies and educational initiatives that empower individuals and communities to make informed choices, promoting a higher quality of life and long-term health outcomes.

Our ultimate aim is to emphasise the importance of both individual and collective efforts in promoting a healthy and fulfilling life, with our impact and knowledge exchange activities extending to public health initiatives, policy recommendations and community engagement strategies.

By advancing knowledge and promoting practices that enhance wellbeing, our healthy living research is aligned to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals around Good Health and Wellbeing (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4) and Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11).
