About this placement
What is organised for students on commencement of placement?
Please download the Student Welcome Pack prior to commencing placement.
Initial two day induction with either their Mentor or Associate Mentor or in the absence of both the PEL
What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?
Mentors will work closely with the Students at least two days a week and in their absence students will work with the Associate Mentors or another competent member of staff
Students will never be expected to lone work
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Early:
0800hrs – 1700hrs
Late:
12miday – 2100hrs or 1300hrs -2200hrs (negotiable) / 0800hrs – 2100hrs
Night:
Nine
Shift Notes:
Admission Avoidance Team work over the 7 days, so you will be expected to work weekends when with this team.
Notes: Off duty will be allocated in advance for the duration of the placement however it can be amended with the mentor once placement commences
