Four named assessors who will all be updated with new guidelines for student assessment.
What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?
Shift Notes:
Days: 08.30 till 16.30 Monday to Sunday
Notes: Usually Monday to Friday, weekends as required
What patient care situations are available in this placement?
Current adult inpatients with complex health / social discharge needs
What nursing model is used for planning care?
Roper /Logan / Tierney
What core clinical skills can be learnt?
Nursing assessments, infection control, recording of general observations, recognising change in patient conditions/ deteriorating health needs.
