Additional Information

C4 endeavours to provide quality care at a high standard, to patient’s carers and relatives. Our philosophy is to create an atmosphere that enhances the healing process and assists those that require rehabilitation to reach their optimum level of independence prior to discharge.

We aim to offer help and support with all activities of daily living, this includes assessment and care from physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dieticians etc., who liaise with nursing staff regarding patient progress. We recognise that every member of staff from whatever discipline who may be involved with our ward and our patients play an equally important role.

We believe in patient centre care, and believe continuity of care enables patients and relatives to relax and discuss their problems, fears and worries more readily. We provide a safe environment for students to join the ward and hope to provide and excellent learning environment where questions are encouraged and evidence based practice is both seen and taught. As a patients advocates the nurses on C4 wish the best to their patients, our ultimate goal is to strive for excellence and work as a team to achieve the best possible care for our patients.
