Year 1. (Nursing student placements only)
- Gain general awareness of gynaecological service delivery provided to the community.
- Integration into a clinical hospital environment and exposure to all aspects of Health & Safety, Infection Control and Role responsibilities, policies and procedures.
- Oppurtunity to observe and participate in care delivery Exposure to wide range of MDT.
- Exposure to a rich learning environment and resources, specialised services, health promotion, treatments and procedures incorporating medical- legal, ethical aspects and facilitating a holistic approach to patient centred care.
- Facilitation of learning appropriate to learners stage of training and learning style.
- Encourage reflective practice and participate in self evaluation to facilitate personal and professional growth and development
