Lee Brennan

Programme Manager, The Lowry / Performance, English and Creative Writing Award Presenter

Lee Brennan is the Programme Manager for a National Pilot, based at The Lowry Theatre, which brings leading theatre makers, artists and facilitators together to introduce Children and Young People from Salford to the Creative Industries.

With over 25 years’ experience, Lee has worked with many theatres both regionally and nationally, using the arts as a vehicle for social change, influencing political decisions and ensuring children, young people and communities are front and centre of the journey. Recently, Lee has led a national forum of artists to develop and shape guiding principles around Co-Creation when working alongside children and young people whilst making theatre. As a theatre maker in his own right, Lee has won awards for directing and devising new work as well as a company director of Stone Soup, development through creativity.
