Paul Vivian

Paul has worked in Further and Higher Education for 23 years in several teaching, programme leadership and management roles. During this time, he developed ‘Black Box’ an international curatorial project space working with notable international artists including Gavin Turk and David Batchelor. Paul holds several external examiner roles and has contributed to validation and review panels for a number of UK and international universities. In addition, he is a practicing artist who has contributed to group exhibitions and presented solo projects both nationally and internationally within the UK, Ireland, and Germany. Paul has published on creative pedagogy and collage and delivered papers at conferences internationally on the subject of collage and trauma. He holds a studio within Greater Manchester and previously studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design and Norwich School of Art and Design. His current research encompasses projects examining megalithic stone circles across the UK.
