An exciting new cycling project called ‘iCycle Salford’ is being launched at the University in the next few weeks that will offer short and long term cycle hire to University students and staff.
The project is student led, run from within the Students Union by the SIFE Society(Students in Free Enterprise), with a major focus on providing low cost sustainable bicycle hire within the University of Salford campus.
The final arrangements for the scheme are currently being finalised but full details will be publicised across the University very shortly.
iCycle Salford is based on the successful scheme that was set up at nearby Manchester Metropolitan University in the summer. The scheme is run in partnership with Cycles Recycled a north west based Community Interest Company that aspires to see more people cycling, more often.
Full details of iCycle Salford will be posted on here once they have been confirmed.
