PlasticFreeUoS poster series by Jess Robinson

To support the PlasticFreeUoS campaign, a MA Visual Communication student Jessica Robinson from the University of Salford School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology has made a series of brilliant posters to raise awareness of the issues related to single use plastics. You can find them around the Peel Park campus.

The posters highlight that although there’s lots of discussion and messaging around this issue, what we need is to focus on taking action.

The posters feature scanned mono prints made using plastic waste found around the campus, and they were sustainably printed using soy-based inks at the University of Salford Bookmaking Studio.

The posters also feature a QR code which links to resources on taking plastic-free action. Scan the code or go to linktr.ee/plasticfreeuosposters to access them.

You can find more of Jessica’s work on her Instagram: @jessrphoto_ and her design portfolio.
