FameLab is the largest science communication competition in the world, and the North West final is coming to Liverpool. Join us on Wednesday 17th April at Leaf, to hear scientists from across the region battle it out to share their work in just three minutes – have they got the charisma, clarity and content to be the next science communication superstar?!
University of Liverpool and University of Salford have joined forces to find the best new voices in science. The finalists will be competing to impress a panel of judges and you, the audience, as they share some bite-size science, with only the help of a single prop! Our winner will then go on to represent the NW at the UK Final at Cheltenham Science Festival in June.
On the night there will be cutting edge science, interactive activities and a talk from special guest Prof. Chloe James, who’ll be sharing her exciting research on ‘Microbial Puppet Masters’!
This event is open to everyone, no background in science is needed! Doors will open at 6pm, the event will start at 6.30pm and finish at 8.30pm. Book your free tickets here and come along and cheer on our future science communication superstars!
