As World Alzheimer’s Month draws to a close, we are inviting colleagues to join us in an immersive experience with the ‘House of Memories’.
The House of Memories is a national touring mobile museum, which opens into an immersive cinema and activity space designed to create memorable experiences for vulnerable and socially isolated people living with Dementia.
Using digital technology, the House of Memories recreates the sights, sounds and smells of the past through a virtual ‘front door’. Experiences vary from a trip to a 1950s grocery store, to a virtual day out at the seaside.
We will be hosting the touring House of Memories museum in Allerton Car Park on Thursday 3 October from 12-4pm.
