My work is about interpreting sense connections to place and memory. I walk through the landscape, take photographs, soak up my environs, make sketches, and sometimes refer to aerial satellite maps, and even use my dreams and imagination. I then interpret this rich resource material and create paintings of various degrees of abstraction.
