You’ll be surprised with how much you can save with your Student ID Card. Student discounts can range from 5% to 40%, so there are big savings to be made. Most shops accept showing your Student ID as card, however, online shopping and other exclusive discounts require signing up using your uni email.
There are many discount websites and apps to save money on beauty products, food, and more. These include (but not limited to) UNIDAYS, TOTUM, and Student Beans. Don’t forget to check your current subscriptions, such as Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music/Prime. Many of these you can get up to 50% off your subscription.

You can also find comfort at our Clifford Whitworth Library by gaining access to our walk-in or pre-bookable study spaces, access thousands of academic resources from free Adobe products to Vogue fashion archives, utilise our click and collect service and more.

Explore more for less with discounts at local venues, galleries and museums. Visit the Lowry at a discounted price and see a variety of upcoming plays and musicals on the Salford waterfront.
Another way of taking advantage of your Student ID is purchasing student passes such as the Student Art Pass. With the pass, you can gain free entry to hundreds of museums and galleries, up to 50% off exclusive exhibitions, and art classes across the UK all year round. All of this for only £10 (a bargain).
