28th June, Working Class Movement Library, 9:30-4pm

All are welcome to take part in a series of interactive workshops that explore the impacts of the British Empire on Asia, Africa and the Caribbean hosted by Southern Voices in collaboration with University of Salford School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology. We particularly encourage 16-24 year old’s to take part.

Join us as we discuss the ways in which colonialism has had huge effects on migration, beauty standards and the environment. We will also have talks by our special guests, writers Jackie Kay CBE and Desiree Reynolds.
