ESRC Festival of Social Science – Save the Date

The Festival of Social Science is an annual celebration of research and knowledge about humans and society. It’s an opportunity for anyone to explore topics relating to social science – from health and wellbeing to crime, equality, education and identity – through events run by researchers and their partners from UK universities. Events are free, open to anyone and can be in-person, online or hybrid. Event types include talks, performances, exhibitions, participatory events and panel debates

In 2023 we had 17 diverse events, ranging from a pop-up performance to encourage discussion around caring and dementia to a film screening at the intersection of sustainability, fashion and climate change.

Expression of interest forms will be sent out soon. For more information please contact Holly Flynn-Piercy h.flynn-piercy2@salford.ac.uk and
