After another brilliant week of graduation celebrations at Salford, we’ve been looking back at graduation days from years gone by.
We recently asked our alumni to send us their graduation photos, and we loved seeing so many come in. From recent years to decades ago, it was great to see familiar Salford spots, changing fashions and lots of very proud graduates.

Fiona graduated on 13 July 1993. Her degree was in French and Hispanic Studies. Her boyfriend graduated the day after in Electroacoustics. They celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary later this year.Here is Fiona again, this time with her friend Brian, who studied French and GermanLeft to right, Anna, Melanie, Alison and Janice. They all studied Modern Languages with various other subjects, graduating in 1995. Gary, Nick, Alan and Stan graduated in Modern Languages, Chemistry and Business Studies in 1979.Ann with her mum and dad in 1979. She graduated with a BSc Joint Honours in Science (Maths, Computer Science and Economics) and was the first person in her family to earn a degree.
