After taking a career break to raise her family, Neetu returned to education and discovered a passion for academia that has shaped her work ever since. Her teaching and research are rooted in sustainability, inclusion and global perspectives, and her experiences reflects the supportive and flexible environment at the University of Salford.

Meet Dr Anjana Basnet, a Lecturer in International Business and Strategy here at Salford Business School. Anjana took the leap into academia after realising her original career path, accountancy, wasn’t where her true interests lay. She soon discovered her passion for corporate social responsibility (CSR), focusing on the reporting methods of sustainability practises in developing countries, completing both her MSc and PhD on the topic.

Salford Business School programmes awarded distinguished EFMD accreditation

Two Salford Business School programmes, MSc International Business and MSc Accounting and Finance, have again been re-accredited by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), based on their quality, excellence and strategic relevance. Both programmes were initially accredited back in 2015, with a five-year re-accreditation confirmed in December 2024.
