The new academic year is here! Read a letter from a member of staff who has written a letter especially for you with their advice on how you can make the most of your time as a Salford student.
This letter was written by Maria, an English graduate. They identified themselves as a postgraduate student who experienced living on campus in student halls.
Dear student,
As you embark on a new year of study, take every opportunity that comes your way.
Your time at university will fly by, so make the most of it while you’re there. Do that extra work placement, join that society, or go for that coffee with a new group of friends.
Also, importantly, don’t be afraid to ask for help – if you’re struggling settling into student life, or want a chat with our Wellbeing team, we’re always right here to help.
Sending you best wishes for this new stage,
– Maria, English graduate
