Order and Chaos
This project proposes an extension to the Working Class Movement Library in Salford, creating new spaces for learning, culture, and community engagement.
The scheme introduces a café, exhibition areas, expanded library spaces, flexible community rooms, and a dedicated event space. Together, these additions improve the visitor experience while supporting the library’s role as a civic and cultural resource.
The proposal strengthens the WCML’s public presence and creates more opportunities for people to gather, learn, share ideas, and engage with working-class history in a more accessible and welcoming environment.
