Salford Business School is set to welcome researchers from around the world as it hosts the 3rd International Conference on The Economic Perspective on Artificial Intelligence (EPEAI) on 16 and 17 June 2026. Submissions are now invited.
For the first time, the EPEAI conference will take place in the UK. Following successful editions in Germany (2023) and South Africa (2024), the 2026 conference will bring together leading academics and practitioners to explore the economic drivers, implications and opportunities of artificial intelligence (AI) across business and society.
The event will be co-hosted by Salford Business School and Hochschule Ruhr West, Institute of Business and Economics (Germany), underscoring the international collaboration behind this growing global forum.
Dr Gordon Fletcher, Associate Dean: Research and Innovation at Salford Business School, said: “We’re delighted to welcome this global conference to Salford. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore how AI is reshaping the way we work, do business, and grow economies.”
