This year’s Search and Social Media Marketing Course was brought to a close on the 5th of November, after 9 weeks of all things digital marketing. The evening was a celebration of the work and dedication demonstrated by our professional cohort throughout the programme.
The extremely popular search and social media marketing course is broken into two parts, the foundation and the professional levels delivered in sequence. The foundation level consists of 4 weeks of teaching, and is led by Alex Fenton. Offering an introduction to SSMM and covers how search engines work, keyword planning, onsite optimisation, integrated search and social media marketing, PPC, and website user experience.
The professional part of the course is hosted by Aleksej Heinze and explores SSMM in greater detail. Covering Strategic and operational campaign management, advanced SEO, social media techniques, link building, in depth social media, and campaign reporting. The class get the opportunity to write a fully optimised blog on our dedicated SSMM blog at the end of the course. This year’s titles include…‘Can you teach an old dog new tricks’ ‘Are silver surfers social media gold’ and ‘Dominate the digital world with these 5 free digital tools’.
